Our horizontal Langstroth hives are custom made to order from natural hardwood with multiple options that are up to the buyer's discretion. Each hive holds 31 standard deep frames. Options may include insulation under the top lid, with frames assembled and in the hive, number of entrances, entrance covers, entrance covers chained to hive, paint/color, hinged lid, spacers, inner covers.
These hives come fully assembled and are available for pickup at our Strongsville location. They are not currently available for shipping due to the prohibitive cost of sending them out. Allow for 3 to 4 weeks for custom orders to be ready. Often all orders will be ready in days but we've received significant interest in these hives. All questions can be sent to [email protected].
Please note you do not need EVERY option, you only need one set of frames. The frames are priced so that you receive a complete hive set.
